This summer I had the chance to work with Erwann Trebaol on the Ultra HD version of our Trackmania Car, for the annoucement of our upcoming game on console. I made the body of the car in subd modeling. The challenge was to have the smoothest flow check as possible for the CG Trailer while maybe using it later in game as an Ultra HD LOD level.
The amount of day i spent on that topic was under 5 days so i know that the wire of the car in the back especially could have been optimised. But that was ok for our needs. I highly relied on the KeyHydra modifier "Wrap and Conform" designed with Vojtech Cada for our 3DSMax plugin.
